شهدت السياحة الدولية إلى الولايات المتحدة تراجعا ملحوظا خلال العام الجاري، مما أثار قلقا واسعا في قطاع السياحة الأمريكي الذي يُقدّر حجمه بنحو 2.36 تريليون دولار.
ووفقا لـ "الفرنسية"، انخفض السفر إلى الخارج في الولايات المتحدة بشكل حاد منذ عودة الرئيس دونالد ترمب إلى منصبه، كما تراجع عدد الزوار الأجانب بنسبة 12% خلال الشهر الماضي مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من العام الماضي، بحسب بيانات إدارة التجارة الدولية، وفي الصورة المرفقة عدد من السائحين في شوارع نيويورك، ولوحة إلكترونية تعرض أسعار تذاكر لعروض مسرحية انخفض الإقبال عليها.
